Everywhere the man would go
His flower seeds he'd sow.
Another came and watered them,
And God would make them grow.
They never saw the flowers bloom;
They'd only stop to pray
That they would add some beauty
To some travelers on their way.
But many souls who came behind
Were awed by the display
And thanked God for some unknown men
Who had only passed their way.
Inspired, they knelt to breathe a prayer.
"Father, may we sow, too?"
We want to leave along our path
Beauty that points to You."
So many took to sowing seeds,
A paradise was made,
God's glory witnessed far and near
On every hill and glade.
We, just like them, can sow love's seeds,
Pour water's mercy, too.
We'll make our world a paradise.
It starts with me and you.
