Not gaily wrapped presents
Placed under a tree,
Nor carolers singing
Joyfully to me.
Not bright lights and tinsel,
Though lovely they be,
Means the most
At Christmas to me.
The Christmas treasure
That's dear to my heart
Is the gift of your friendship
And the joy it imparts.
For God's truly blessed me
By giving to me
A gift that is priceless
A treasure, you see.
And I thank God daily
For a blessing like you
And pray God will bless you
In all that you do.
May God give you this Christmas
And all the year through
A special anointing
In all that you do.
May your family be blessed
May God's presence be near
Not only at Christmas
But throughout the New Year.

- I was born in the naval port of Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of a US Navy Master Chief. With the exception of 1 year living in Boston, Mass.,and two years in Hanau, Germany, I have lived in the historic state of Virginia all my life. I now reside in the beautiful Roanoke Valley. Though raised in a Christian home, I was in my early 20’s before making a commitment of my life to Christ. Since then I have spent many years in full-time ministry. I am currently employed as an accountant with a Christian child care center in Roanoke and also serve as the Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator for singer and songwriter Mary Rice Hopkins who resides in California.
