Just a little crumb was needed
From the Loaf of Living Bread
To restore the ailing daughter,
So the begging woman pled.
Jesus recognized the woman
And rewarded her request
As she knelt before Him pleading,
Words revealing faith confessed.
It only takes a little crumb,
Faith just like the mustard seed,
For God to hear and answer prayer
And to meet your deepest need.
Just persistent interceding,
With a crumb of faith will do,
For the Lord to heed your pleading,
Fill the hunger deep in you.
"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry; ...and whoever comes to me I will never drive away" (John 6:35a; 37b).

- I was born in the naval port of Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of a US Navy Master Chief. With the exception of 1 year living in Boston, Mass.,and two years in Hanau, Germany, I have lived in the historic state of Virginia all my life. I now reside in the beautiful Roanoke Valley. Though raised in a Christian home, I was in my early 20’s before making a commitment of my life to Christ. Since then I have spent many years in full-time ministry. I am currently employed as an accountant with a Christian child care center in Roanoke and also serve as the Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator for singer and songwriter Mary Rice Hopkins who resides in California.
