All God would have me to be;
Free to walk an untraveled road,

Free to close doors on past failures,

Free to go where I've not journeyed,

Free to take flight with the eagles,
Free to ascend high above,
Free to grow in the grace of God,
Free to forgive, free to love.
Free to reach out for the rainbow,
Free to let Christ live through me,
Free to bring light to our dark world,
Free in Two-Thousand and Three.

- I was born in the naval port of Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of a US Navy Master Chief. With the exception of 1 year living in Boston, Mass.,and two years in Hanau, Germany, I have lived in the historic state of Virginia all my life. I now reside in the beautiful Roanoke Valley. Though raised in a Christian home, I was in my early 20’s before making a commitment of my life to Christ. Since then I have spent many years in full-time ministry. I am currently employed as an accountant with a Christian child care center in Roanoke and also serve as the Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator for singer and songwriter Mary Rice Hopkins who resides in California.
