I'm praying for a white Christmas
To blanket ev'ry heart,
And that Your Spirit will descend,
Your holiness impart.
More than a song we sing along,
I pray it will appear.
Lord, send Your snow at Christmastime
To ev'ry heart this year.
Remove the darkness from each life.
Lord, let Your snow now fall.
And do not hold it back, Oh, Lord,
Until it covers all.
For when each heart is purified,
Made clean and white as snow.
Then we will truly celebrate
And peace at Christmas know.

- I was born in the naval port of Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of a US Navy Master Chief. With the exception of 1 year living in Boston, Mass.,and two years in Hanau, Germany, I have lived in the historic state of Virginia all my life. I now reside in the beautiful Roanoke Valley. Though raised in a Christian home, I was in my early 20’s before making a commitment of my life to Christ. Since then I have spent many years in full-time ministry. I am currently employed as an accountant with a Christian child care center in Roanoke and also serve as the Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator for singer and songwriter Mary Rice Hopkins who resides in California.
