MY REFUGE

I have a Rock of Refuge
Where I can safely hide,
A shelter from the raging storm
Far from the swelling tide.

When wind and floods outside assail,
I'm in a safe retreat.
Or when the sun in beating down,
I'm shielded from the heat.

My enemy cannot invade;
A guard's placed at the door.
Inside I rest in love and peace
Where fear alarms no more.

A mighty fortress that will stand,
Christ Jesus, it is He.
I'll dwell inside where grace abides;
My refuge He will be.

”O LORD my God, I take refuge in You” (Psalm 7:1a).
