ONE HOPE (Christmas Poem)

One Child was born in Bethlehem.
One star revealed Christ's birth;
One song the holy angels sang
Of peace to men on earth.

One manger gently cradled Him.
One stable filled with light;
One child who was the Son of God
Was born one holy night.

One virgin mother watched in awe.
One man stood there amazed,
To gaze upon one little child
And to one God they praised.

One moment earth had waited for,
One hope to us God gave.
One way to live eternally,
One Son He sent to save.

Who would have thought one little Child
Would lead to Heaven's door?
But in this Child is our one hope
To live forevermore.
